Business KYC(KYB) Guide

Learn how businesses can complete KYC/KYB verification on Haven1 for secure blockchain transactions.

Step 1: Getting started

  1. You can start the KYB by visiting link on your desktop computer

  2. Fill your basic personal information.

  3. To verify your business account, select 'Business' under Account Type and specify the jurisdiction of incorporation.

Step 2: New or Reusable KYC?

You will be given two options to verify your identity:

  1. New Verification - this option is required when you are verifying a NEW BUSINESS ACCOUNT and the following documents and information will be required:

    • Corporate Information (all relevant corporate details) AND corporate documents

    • Legal Representative (proof of identity and proof of address of the corporates legal representative)

    • UBO Verification (proof of identity and proof of address for all UBO’s and Shareholders)

  1. Already Verified - if your corporate documents have been verified in the past, with Synaps, you can use this option, please keep in mind that corporate information will still be required. The following information will be required during the verification:

    1. Corporate Information (all relevant corporate details)

    2. Legal Representative (proof of identity and proof of address of the corporates legal representative)

    3. UBO Verification (proof of identity and proof of address for all UBO’s and Shareholders)

Step 3: Review and accept the Terms and Conditions

Step 4: Fill in corporate information

You will be required to provide the following corporate information:

  • Jurisdiction

  • Entity name

  • Registration number

  • Corporate Address

Step 5: Provide authotization

You will be required to provide legal representative authorization, this allows the legal representative to provide all documents and information as well as the authorization signatory.

Additionally the following documents will be required for verification purposes:

  • Face Scan

  • Proof of Identity

  • Proof of Address

Step 6: Verify UBOs

The following documents are required to verify the corporate identity:

  • Certificate of Incorporation

  • Memorandum and Articles of Association

  • Register of Directors and Shareholders

Complete the UBO tree by providing all the information of the UBO’s and Shareholders (owning more than 25%). All UBO’s and Shareholders will be required to complete KYC and the following documents will be required:

  • Face Scan

  • Proof of Identity

  • Proof of Address

Once you submit for verification, please note verification may take up to 24 hours.
