Introducing Haven1 Cove testnet

Haven1 is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 (L1) platform providing secure, accessible, compliant on-chain finance.

This comprehensive guide outlines how to get started with Haven1 Testnet and commence your journey today.

Getting Started:

As Haven1 is an EVM-compatible blockchain, the following wallets will be compatible:

MetaMask (Recommended)
Wallet Connect

If this is your first web3 wallet, we recommend downloading MetaMask

This tutorial will use the MetaMask browser wallet.

Step 1: Add Haven1 Cove Testnet to MeteMask

Haven1 operates on its native token, $H1. Therefore, before using Haven1, it is essential to configure MetaMask to recognize both the Haven1 blockchain and the $H1 testnet token.

Option 1: Through the Haven1 Testnet Website

i) Start at the Testnet Landing Page and tap “Connect” in the top-right-hand corner of the page.

ii) The Haven1 Cove Testnet network will then be added automatically. Switch to the Haven1 Cove Testnet network on your wallet.

Option 2: Manually through the Wallet

i) Adding Haven1 Testnet manually to your wallet involves adding some network details to the extension.

First, open MetaMask. click the network dropdown icon and then click “Add network” on the pop-up.

ii) Navigate to ‘Add a network manually’ and enter the following:

Network name: Haven1 Cove Testnet
New RPC URL: https://testnet-rpc.haven1.org
Chain ID: 810
Currency symbol: H1
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.testnet.haven1.org

After adding the above details, click “Save”.

Step 2: Complete Verification Process

In order to transact on the Haven1 network, your account must be issued a hPassport.

Once you have connected your wallet, click 'Verify Account' to start at the Verification Page. Click “Continue” on the pop-up.

Step 1: Start the testnet verification process by entering your Full name and a valid email address. If you have a referral code please add it here. (If you clicked on a referral link, we will auto-populate the referral code)

Step 2: Join our Discord & Verify your a member (Optional)

Step 3: Enter Select Account Type and Country and click Sign up to complete your registration.

Once you have completed this process, you will be issued a hPassport to the wallet address and you may begin transacting on the Haven1 network!

You will be able to view the successful minting transaction of the Proof of ID NFT on the Haven1 block explorer.
